I was just asked when the next swap was going to start.
We are waiting for the lasts of the previous swap to be completed and actually for the time line for the last swap was really good.
With christmas coming up I want to ask if you are interested in doing another member swap or start a couple of one week challenges or what.
I know one person that is really anxious to do a member swap, his first.

I have another one that was going to get the red enamel treatment, but after removing the paint I noticed it looked really clean. I gave it a quick polish and it came out pretty good. I decided to cheat . LOL . I guess doing a club car over has its advantages , like not haveing to sand and polish . It also has its disadvantages like not sanding and polishing . I dont find it very enjoyable to redo a club car . does shine nice , and is pretty cheep compared to an original . Just not the same . However if you want a nice example of a pretty expensive casting its the way to go 10 - 15 for the car , 6 bux for paint and a few bux for the decals . just under 20 bux to put this...

I recently aquired a very nice Bandit (US) with a very unusual problem. Half of the engine chrome is pristine and the other half is almost gone! It's split amost half and half! How the heck does this happen to only one side? Did some kid leave it sitting on a window sill or something? Also, what's the safest way to remove an engine from a Hot Heap?

Has anyone ever seen a fake Classic Cord? I did some wheeling and dealing for a Cord to restore but know that I'm looking at it, it looks to be rechromed it has a homemade windsheild and some funky rivets on it. I was just wondering if antone has ever heard of these being fake like the RLBB or the 442?

Automotive Clearcoat

I've asked a couple of members what they use for a final clearcoat. Several of you use a 2-part automotive clearcoat. OK....not to sound stupid, but what exactly is it, and how is it used. This is a good opportunity for one of you to do a tutorial (I love those) with pics and what-not. The only clearcoat I've used is a rattlecan, so I am definately a "newbie" when it comes to something like this. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
