My suggestion is to get yourself some sort of compressor, don't even pretend you are going to mess with these cans of air... Even if it's a tire
inflator for your cigarette lighter that you rig to run your airbrush, that will be better and cheaper in the long run.
As far as an airbrush itself, I would tell you to pick out a decent one. It will last long enough to make the cost work out for you in the long run. If you can't put close to $100 into this, then maybe Santa can help. Otherwise, you'll be buying cans of air or rebuying whatever you cut costs with now until you go on and get it right and get what you need in the first place... Just my opinion. Greg. And welcome to the forum. I think you'll find some useful info floating around in here... |

Welcome to the forum Paul !
A compressor with an airtank and adjustable regulator is what you really need. It doesn't have to be new - check your local area for a used one even, you'll find it useful for other things as well around the house ! For a good quality airbrush, check out the Paasche line of airbrushes. These are great quality and won't break the bank .... usually in the $55-100 range depending on the accessories you get with it. I use a Pasche VLS dual action and love it.
