Registered Member Posts: 471 06/29/08 08:17 AM	Tags : None Just recieved these 3 Heavy Chevys from epay. Ran about $6.50 each plus postage. I have no idea what they were except for the purple one. The black and silver have the open hole wheel where the other is an old spoiler with bearing wheels. I guess rip and tear then dip, and go from there. Will try to keep pics of progress. Geez more wheels again!!!!!!!!!!!!!maybe windows ???????? will go the since 68 wheels on the 2 of them. Should have them done tomorrow LOL just kidding. Thanks for looking Rob

Registered Member Posts: 471 06/30/08 09:30 PM	Well, It was a fairly busy night at work so didn't get much time to goof off. I got the bodies stripped of paint. I had a real problem trying to polish up the flying color cars lots of toning and marks under the paint. And one base would not shine up much at all. The spoiler cleaned up real nice. The grills are all straightened I put some GOJO hand cleaner and worked the windows between my fingers and noticed the paint was slowly dissolving so kept at it. Was getting really excited as the first two were in good shape but the last had a crack. So will have to replace one of them. Now to plan, #1. The Spoiler will go traditional. The color I haven't a clue yet. #2. I visited the Redline on line guide, borrowed some pictures to show here, and figured I will get decals from Jon and go either the green or yellow on one. #3. The second one I would like to ask Rooster if he could zinc coat the body and base for me and them just apply decals. #4. Or the last choice is something I have seen done here by another fellow and have gone the same way as he did on another car I did but I am waiting decals for it before I show it and another one I did. I really liked what he did and tried the same thing. I hope it turns out as nice as his did I can not decide which to go green or yellow, would appreciate help in choice Last Edited By: Jaime94cat 06/30/08 10:38 PM. Edited 3 times.

So Here is a before of this one and the after The other 2? one is completed but waiting decals, the other is still apart, waiting a window and decals.
