How dare all of you. Now I have gotten addicted. Took the new wheels you guys helped me with from that fleetside and will try my own restoration. I think it
will be fun. Here are pictures of it now. Pretty isn't it? I am sure you all have seen worse, and still fixed it. Needs a couple of things? Maybe?
The redline shop has some good tips on redline restoration, and you all have some very interesting posts. Hope the pictures aren't too big, I don't
know. I will probably have some questions for you also. Thanks Mark "can't stop at one". At least this thing isn't the "holy grail of
hot wheel collecting", so not too worried about really messing it up. At least this addiction shouldn't land me in jail. I think. Todd

Its easy to get hooked working on the little Redlines especially after you do one that you are really happy with. As you mentioned there is a vast amount of
knowledge here, and a great amount of guys willing to answer all questions. I came on board about 6 months ago and am hooked too, much to the dismay of the
wife. You don't have to start with all the painting equipment. I am still using spray cans, Duplicolor Rattlecans, they come with a transparent finish and
can achieve the spectraflame type paint job, others use nail polish in an airbrush other enamels. The variations are endless. you'll enjoy the issues of
paint that flakes off easily on highly poished bodies. A good reference site to see other redlines of a certain car is
http://onlineredlineguide.com/ this site is used by all of us at one time or another. Keep us posted on your progress. We all really like the inprogress shots of a restore. I am presently working on three Heavy Chevies and have been posting inprogress shots. All are painted and ready to go except decals which I will have to wait for before I can post them again. Take care and enjoy yourself, Rob

Don't know if anyone has done jail-time for restoring reds (trying to think...), but I know of one guy (personally) who almost got his a$$ kicked over a
busted redline deal (name withheld to protect the guilty). But, all-in-all it's a very enjoyable hobby and, as you have discovered, quite
addicting. Keep at it, keep posting and we'll all enjoy each others hard work!!
